  • Practical Skills Development – making serial dilutions and using a colorimeter correctly

 

 

 

 

YOUR TASK

 

Students will work through the As and A level biology B student guide booklet and answer the questions – to be handed in the first biology lesson in September – date TBC

 

To revise and make revision resources for the following topics for their 60 minute baseline assessment in September (the baseline assessment will take place in the second biology lesson in September – date TBC

  • DNA structures and genetics

  • Protein synthesis and enzymes

  • Cell structures

  • Biodiversity

  • Heart and blood flow

But Biology needs to become a passion, most of you won’t get this from a CGP revision book so:-

 

Science related magazines such as ‘New Scientist’ or ‘Discover’ and science related websites to develop your broader interest and understanding in Science and Biology.
