There will be an overview of the course with clear explanations on what is expected for the exams.
Students will then experience an A Level Poetry lesson where they will be expected to use their analysis skills and show their understanding of literature.
Research the poets Robert Frost, William Carlos Williams and D. H. Lawrence. This can be presented as a handout or PowerPoint.
Find two poems written by each poet and analyse the poems, providing a summary of what the meaning is behind the poems.
Choose one poet out of the three and write a written response where you analyse and compare their two poems and the key themes the poet explores
